Our winery specialises in the production of high quality « Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie », in respect of the Loire Valley wines savoir-faire.
Situated in the heart of the wine-growing region around Nantes, Domaine de la Foliette has developed a range of Muscadet wines that will suit all tastes and all gastronomic uses. Our wines are appreciated everywhere in the world: from the United States to Japan, throughout Europe, and of course in the gourmet restaurants of Nantes and its region. This range also includes “pleasure wines” such as Sauvignon and Chardonnay IGP Val de Loire, a traditional method sparkling wine, a semi-sweet white, a rosé and a sparkling grape juice.
Since 1996 the “ Domaine de la Foliette ” has been run by two associates, both coming from local wine-growing families: Denis Brosseau and Eric Vincent. In bringing our expertise and the knowledge of previous generations together, we produce Muscadet wines that are regularly mentioned in the specialised press and win awards in competitions such as the Concours Général Agricole de Paris and Wine Enthusiast.
As a member of Terra Vitis, which advocates sustainable viticulture in France, we maintain a limited production (short pruning, low yield) and we operate a rigorous selection to provide our clients with authentic wines that reflect and express our terroir. Since 2019 we have the choice of going organic with the AB certification.
